Science - Amplify Science
The Science Department is excited to incorporate a new, innovative science curriculum for Kiley Middle School.  Utilizing the Amplify Science platform, interactive lessons and opportunities for students to “learn, think, and write” as a scientist will be the keystone of the curriculum.  Real-world application and problem-solving skills will be the focus for student learning.

Social Studies/Humanities - Choices/Facing History and Ourselves
The Social Studies/Humanities Department has done much research into the curriculum chosen for this school year, which pairs two highly engaging curricula: Choices and Facing History and Ourselves.  Choices, in particular, will focus on inquiry based historical analysis of history with an emphasis on race and current events. Students will understand how to think critically and the impact of their choices. 
 
Math - Illustrative Math through the Learn Zillion Platform
The Math Department will introduce continue to use Illustrative Math, the most highly rated curriculum according to EdReports, now through a digital platform called LearnZillion, which is a platform that ensures access to the highly rigorous curriculum virtually.

ELA - myPerspectives
This year we will introduce a new curriculum, myPerspectives for ELA. myPerspectives received the highest ratings from EdReports and is integrated into a virtual platform dedicated to creating a student-centered digital classroom. Students will be able to collaborate with one another on tasks, work independently, and share their thinking.  The myPerspectives curriculum is dedicated to providing engaging, relatable, and antiracist content for students of all reading levels.
